From Bedlam to Brilliance – We’ve All Been Thrown a Giant Wrench

We sure have been thrown a giant wrench and are just trying to figure out how to navigate these new waters. We are inundated with emails about what is going on, how to be productive, how not to stress or be anxious, etc. It’s hard to keep up with everything when maybe all you just want to do is sit on the couch and eat bon-bons. Guess what – if that is what you want or need to do to get through the day (or even hours), do so. There is no judgement going on right now.
Everyone’s situation is different – you live alone, family and friends are not nearby, you are working and trying to home-school your kids, and so on and so forth. Even though it’s a little over a month since we’ve been sheltering-in-place, some days may be better than other days. From my point of view, if I want to have a meltdown on a certain day, so be it. If you want to have a meltdown on another day, so be it. We are only human.
To be truthful, there are days when I am happy that I’ve at least made my bed and gotten dressed. And, there are other days, when I get more done. It is what it is. I’m learning not to feel guilty on those days I’m not “productive.” Being productive, of course, is a very individual thing.
If on one of those days you are feeling like you want to be productive and get organized, no matter the size of the project, I am offering virtual organizing sessions. You can try it for 15 minutes for free to see if it’s something you want to do. If it works, great, if not, no big deal. Although I’m obviously not with you physically, I can guide you through the process and keep you motivated while you are going through whatever you want to de-clutter and organize. Most of you know my minimum number of hours to work is three (3), but that could be a very long time in the virtual world. If this is something you want to try after the freebie 15 minutes, a virtual session would last no more than an hour.
